The Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is an innovative five-year program that combines undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Management. This program is especially popular among Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), with institutions like IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, and IIM Ranchi offering it to students right after high school (10+2 level). The IPM aims to create young management professionals with a solid foundation in both liberal arts and management studies.
The IPM awards students with a Bachelor’s degree (typically a Bachelor of Arts in Foundation of Management) after three years and a Master’s degree (MBA) after completing five years.
It blends undergraduate studies with advanced management education, offering a seamless transition from foundational subjects to professional management studies.
Academic Requirements: Students must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board, typically with at least 60% marks (some variation exists among institutions).
Admission to IPM programs primarily involves an entrance test followed by other rounds such as Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
PMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is the common entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak. Some institutions also accept other national-level entrance exams or have their own criteria.
